We are continually trying to improve our customer's experience, please share with us your favorite experiences visiting the area. Having your horses in training with Jesse Saldana brings you the added value of a vacation setting in Sonoma County. You and your family will enjoy discovering the incredible variety of activities in a beautiful environment. Here are some photos from a recent trip to Sonoma traveling from the southern end of the county at Viansa Winery on Hwy 121, then progressing north to the quaint town of Sonoma. Be sure to sample artisan cheeses from the local artisan foods industry- some of the main stars of this movement are located in Sonoma County. Artisan cheeses is expected to be equal in size and quality to the California wine industry growth in the last 25 years. Well crafted olive oils, breads, desserts, savories and endless delicacies are offered in the winery gift shops and in specialty shops and farms along your path. These products are often produced by hobby farms and retirees enjoying life in the wine country. As you tour Sonoma county you might do early holiday shopping, with gift packaging/shipping and club memberships available. Receiving a monthly bottle of wine from your favorite winery is a fun way to remember your Sonoma vacation. In Region 3 custom labeled wines are used to sponsor and celebrate events, and we encourage all our members to participate. If you wish to taste the wines without worrying about your blood alcohol level, consider taking a wine tour. Visit www.californiawinetours.com. First let's start with Viansa Winery on Arnold Road, in Southern Sonoma County. From the ranch, take Hwy 116 east to Hwy 12 South towards San Francisco, taking Hwy 121 South. |
